Pocket Pals all started with Terry, the bluebird. My sister asked me if I wanted to create a bird out of craft with her and so I said yes. I picked out some supplies- pipe cleaners, beads, foam shapes (and yes, I know, not very eco-friendly)- and got to work. I continued to twist and glue and cut until he was perfect! Once he was finished I took a good look at him. It was then that I had a brilliant idea to sell these little figurines on Facebook- I sold all 8 in the first day!

 

I loved every minute of business and continued to grow my small business. It was one Christmas that I got an earring making kit to make Christmas presents that I found a love in earring making. I read a business book about Kid businesses and then I desperately wanted a proper business. I started up a Facebook page and got to work advertising my products. I got orders, and business had never been better! I did markets and asked shops if they'd sell my products. Soon enough Pocket Pals thriving!
